RMGCC player won Myanmar amateur open 2011

Yan Myo Aye, senior supervisor of golf operation department of RMGCC won Myanmar amateur open 2011 by total gross score of 289(+1) on 4 days event held at Yangon Golf club on 22nd -25th march 2011.Yan Myo Aye has never won any major tournament until he has entered RMGCC 1 year ago to receive intensive training from Mr. Sann Htun PGA professional who is working at our club as a Director of Golf operation. With full practice facilities of club and professional coaching  is the proven fact that champions are made and   are not born.

For Runner up position, Maung Maung Oo who is also working as a senior supervisor of golf operation showed his effortful grind during the last round but satisfactorily lost to Yan by 2 strokes. This year five players from RMGCC played  most prestigious tournament in Myanmar  and four out of five finished within top ten tables. Other RMGCC players who showed up their talent are Ye Htet Aung at position 6th ,Min Thura Aung at position 8th,and  Min Thant Zin at position 16th.
